App: Barter Connect

1. Information We Collect

When you register and use the Barter Connect app, we collect the following personal data:

• Your email address
• Your Barter Connect card number
• Your chosen password

When you use the QR code scanner feature, we access your device’s camera, but only when you explicitly use this function.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely for the following purposes:

• To authenticate your login
• To display your account balance and transaction history
• To enable Trade Baht transfers between members
• To allow QR code scanning for faster transaction setup
• To enable messaging between members regarding deals
• To allow BDMs (Business Development Managers) to view and participate in deal-related chats
• To allow access to a member marketplace for Trade Baht purchases

We do not use your personal data for advertising, profiling, or marketing.

3. Camera Access

The app requests access to your camera only to scan QR codes when you choose to do so. No images or video are stored or transmitted.

4. Chat and Marketplace Features

The Barter Connect app includes a chat feature to facilitate deal-related discussions between members. Please note the following:

• All messages in deal-related chats are stored unencrypted.
• Both Business Development Managers (BDMs) assigned to the deal can view all messages exchanged in the chat.
• Messages may be reviewed by Barter Connect support in the event of a dispute or complaint.

By using the chat feature, you consent to this level of visibility and review.

The app also allows members to browse and purchase products or services from other members using Trade Baht. Purchase activity is linked to your account and stored for transaction tracking and support purposes.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties, except:

• When legally required (e.g., by court order)
• When necessary to protect your rights, property, or safety

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard encryption and technical measures to protect your account data and in-app activity.

7. Additional Information

Barter Connect is a companion app for registered members of the Barter Connect platform. To access the app, you must already hold a valid Barter Connect account.
